A Note From Jacoby

Growing up in New Orleans, LA, I witnessed firsthand the disadvantages of youth without support systems to push them towards success. At an early age, my mom taught me the value of hard work and respect. Throughout my life, many people have molded and shaped me into the man I am today. My mom always encouraged me to pursue my many talents and I found success in sports, particularly football.

A natural leader among his peers, Jacoby was able to connect and to communicate effectively the effects of making positive life decisions. As a role model and an advocate for youth, I am motivated to do more to bridge the gap and to be a positive resource to assist youth in pursuing their personal goals.

I challenge you to be an advocate for your community and to advocate for our youth. My foundation is doing its part to empower and encourage the positive development of youth in New Orleans.

All I ever wanted to do was to show other kids that I didn’t forget where I came from – that I am proud to be from the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans! I challenge you to be an advocate for your community. My foundation is doing its part to empower and encourage the positive development of youth in New Orleans. Check out our programs and I would love to have your support at one of my upcoming events!

Yours in Service,
Jacoby Jones #12
